U7 AGE GROUP

How many U7 teams will you have?

Please complete the form below. If you do not have any U7 teams then select Zero. Team names for the tournament can be decided when registering teams on the tournify system for each tournament arranged. This will help us plan for the first 3v3 tournament.

All players will be registered to your U7 Age Group on your club portal. Only one U7 Age Team is needed for player registration.

Competitions will be arranged by the league. Clubs will register how many teams they are entering into the friendly round robin tournament for each tournament arranged based on the number of registered players they have.

Various tournaments will be arranged throughout the season (on a Saturday) allowing clubs to play other clubs in a managed format.

Each team of 3 should have one coach supervising the game only. There is no coaching, no goal keeper, 3v3 goals on a small pitch. 3v3 is a fun format where the children just PLAY.

Each game will consist of 2 halves. Each half will be 10 minutes. Total match time will be 20 minutes for each games.

Each team MUST be registered on your Club Portal. If you have 2 teams (Example: Ashcott Reds and Ashcott Blues) then each team must be registered.

All players intending to play for your U8 age group can be registered to play for both teams. All club officials should be registered for both teams.

On match day each players can be selected to play for one team ONLY and MUST only play for that team on that match day.

Please note that you MUST register your County Cup Teams via your Club Affiliation form in your Club Portal. County Cup Games are played on a Sunday morning.

The Taunton & District Youth League do not get involved with the County Cup Compeititon but need to know to help with planning league fixtures.
